John Herke practices in the areas of toxic tort/environmental litigation, commercial litigation, and insurance defense.

He is licensed and actively practicing in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi courts. He attended Tulane Law School where he served as Senior Managing Editor of the Environmental Law Journal, and published a student commentary on the National Flood Insurance Program. After graduation with honors from Tulane, John served for several years as a law clerk for the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Mississippi. He has taught courses in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the University of Southern Mississippi and has contributed to seminars on mold litigation and on Mississippi practice and procedure. He is a member of the Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi Bar Associations.
